Only a select handful of people impact our lives so very deeply. Their influence is felt and their words bring us life. One of these people in my life is Marty Eddinger. The Lord took him home a few years ago on this date (Feb 3). He was a great encourager. He and Millie supported us from the beginning of our work here in Bedford. He spoke life, hope, encouragement. He prayed, sought the Lord, and won souls. He talked about Jesus. He served others, from leading Overcomer’s, to making food, to anonymous gifts. He loved his God, his wife, his family, his friends, and his church.
He sent me on my woodcarving journey. Patiently encouraging me to not give up. He taught me how to set up, how to detail eyes, how to enjoy the process not just the end product. I am grateful.
I am thankful he spoke into my life. His words still speak. His friendship is missed. On that Great Day the missing will be over. Thanks Marty.
