When I was a child he was interested in my life, watched out for me, made sure I was ok. It made a difference. He encouraged me in the good choices, discouraged my bad ones. It made a difference. He shared with me the Jesus he personally knew, encouraged me to know HIm too. It made a difference. He held me accountable in love, made sure I was growing in Christ. It made a difference. He asked me about my life, seemed to care more for mine than his own. It made a difference. He challenged me to move forward, questioned me when I did not. It made a difference. He made me laugh, inspired me to cry. It made a difference. He called to check in on my, called to invite me, called to pray for me, called to tell me something funny, we would laugh together. It made a difference. His passions were intoxicating, his convictions unwavering, his courage….relentless. It made a difference. His commitment to Christ, his allegiance to the Word. It made a difference. He shared with me revelation, thoughts from above, and lessons from below. It made a difference. His voice, heart, care and love has made all the difference in my life. I rejoice that I had someone in my life, that made a difference to and in me! I rejoice that he was there for me. Where would I be if he had not looked past himself, and his own life and care about mine? He made a difference in so many others also. I pray that I will make a difference in the lives of others bringing Christ, love, encouragement, and hope like he did. I want to make a difference! Don’t you? Make it your priority and do it. He made a difference, are you?
